Bradley Bennett

Appearance
Bradley's short, at 5'6, with black hair that just won't stay down no matter what the Hell he does to it. He's fairly skinny, but he's got that ropey muscle thing down that makes him surprisingly strong for his height. He's best described as boyish, and a bit of a slacker.
History
Bradley Bennett's history was depressingly ordinary. He was born in Sacramento to Maude and Art Bennett, was the middle of three brothers, and lived in a pretty nice house with a pet dog called Rex and a goldfish. In all truth, he was pretty much the stereotype of middle class, suburban American family. He grew up pretty damn happy, and enjoyed life. He had an average amount of friends, wasn't the best or most attentive student, read comic books and just generally coasted through.
Sure, maybe he entertained a couple of Superhero fantasies, but he never really believed he'd make any sort of difference in the world. Mostly, he just wanted to go ahead, graduate, and get a decent job. He hit High School and joined the wrestling team as a hobby, which he wasn't too bad at, and graduated middle of his class. He managed to get into college to study Business, but what he really ended up doing was partying and drinking with the rest of his fraternity. Although he did keep up the wrestling, he realised he didn't really want to end up a businessman, and kind of aimlessly drifted back and forth, looking for what he wanted.
That was when everything took a turn for the fucked up. He was at a party one night, drinking (legally for once; he'd turned 21 the previous week), when some blond sorority girl showed up with a new guy. They'd apparently hooked up at a club the previous night, and the new guy was supposed to be hot shit. Brad did notice something about him. It was like he couldn't take his eyes off him. He ended up hanging on every word, period.
The guy ended up showing up more and more. He told Brad his name was Rich, and he was apparently a Grad student. Every time, Brad ended up sat there, listening in a sort of daze to Rich's charismatic stories. Eventually, Rich invited him to meet off campus at some club or other, and Brad went along, sort of confused. He was starting to wonder if he was in love with Rich, which didn't really make a whole lot of sense to him; he was pretty damn sure he was straight.
The club was a run down little place off some back alley, and Brad almost didn't go in, but when he spotted Rich at the private booth, he went in. This time, the minute Rich made eye contract, Brad knew he was in love. He didn't even bat an eyelid when Rich cut his wrist and made him drink it. Besides, it felt fucking great. This happened a couple more times, until the last time they met up.
He didn't bat an eyelid when Rich bit down on his neck, not even when he felt himself starting to get short of breath, or when his vision tunneled. He woke up about half an hour later, with Rich awkwardly wringing his hands and apologizing, explaining he hadn't meant to kill him. Brad wondered what the fuck was going on, until Rich explained that he was a vampire. And apologized. A lot.
Brad figured he could probably live with it, but it wasn't exactly glamorous. He tries to keep in touch with his family, even so, and he still hangs out with his Sire, who couldn't figure out any other way to save him. He's a bit of a screw-up, but he's all Brad's got.
Brad hasn't told Rich, but sometimes he prowls the streets, trying to use his powers to help people out. It's not easy, but he figures that way he can give something back. He's not sure quite why he hasn't mentioned it, but he's pretty sure Rich wouldn't approve. Not at all.
And he'd really, really hate to disappoint him.
