Personal History

Mortal Days

Chantay was born and raised in the city of San Fransisco. She was cared for by a single mother, and never knew her father. In retrospect, this had lead her to suspect that he was a werewolf. As a child she developed a love of nature, going on camping trips whenever possible. This love of nature gradually lead to her becoming more and more determined to protect it, and she eventually decided to go into environmental law. She attended UC-Davis for her undergraduate degree, doing exceptionally well before being accepted into the school's Law Program. She graduated and passed her BAR exam in May of 2009, at the age of twenty-five.

First Change

Chantay underwent her First Change on the night of October 10 2010, under the light of the half moon. She was on her way home from a law library when it happened, and was soon running through the streets in Urhan form. Like all Elodoth undergoing their First Change she felt as something was out of balance in the world, a storm drain in her case. While she was attempting to destroy it she was discovered by another Elodoth, Casey, who led her on a chase that brought her to the territory of the Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood. Soon after the rest of the pack arrived, restraining her and talking her down until she regained her senses.

Afterwards, the pack gave Chantay a crash course on what it meant to be a Werewolf. She was also given her first Spirit Brands, partially so that the Pack could prove they were speaking the truth. The Night ended with Chantay joining the Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood and returning to her apartment.

Fixing the Hisil

With the Hisil barren for some unknown reason fixing it quickly became the priority for ever Forsaken pack in the city, including the Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood. Soon after her Change it was suggested by Bull Rush that they seek counsel from the spirit of the city, Wild Sacramento. They were joined by two members of The Sworn while within the Hisil, and after some difficulty managed to find their way to the spirit within the reflection of the Wells Fargo Center. After Wild Sacramento expressed dissatisfaction with Bull Rush, Chantay stepped forward and was able to learn that the spiritscape had been devastated by a Pure Rite. In order to restore the Hisil to its rightful glory the werewolves would have to recover the four shards of the Spirit of Downtown Sacramento.

One shard was located within the Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood's territory, in a cave by the river. The Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood entered the cave along with [[Seth Callaway], a prospective recruit. They encountered a few obstacles as the worked their way into the cave, riddles that Chantay solved. Eventually they reached the shard, only to find it guarded by a spirit called Honorable Stalwart Aegis. It was agreed that they would confront the spirit in single combat, with Seth stepping up to fight first. Unfortunately he was severely wounded in the fight and succumbed to Kuruth, becoming fox-ridden. Chantay stepped forward to continue the fight against the Guardian while Bull Rush sought to restrain Seth. And while Chantay was able to defeat the spirit and lay claim to the shard Seth, unfortunately, did not survive being brought down from Kuruth.

After all four shards were recovered the packs of Sacramento met at Tur. After some initial confusion as to what had to be done Chantay suggested that The Funeral Rite was a powerful purification ritual, Bull Rush and Gwen Barty began performing it for the spirit's corpse. Unfortunately, the Pure arrived while the Rite was being performed. As an Elodoth, Chantay went to the edge of Tur alone. Hoping to reason with the Pure to avoid bloodshed, or at least buy time. Unfortunately the Pure were not particularly interested in what she had to say and attacked. Chantay managed to avoid causing harm to any of the Pure during the fight and capture one of the Pure, later allowing her to set up a prisoner exchange to rescue Alex Broman from the Pures' clutches.

And despite the death of one of their number, the Forsaken proved to be successful in repelling the Pure and restoring the Hisil at long last.

Relationships

Packs

Chantay joined the Ascendant Crescent Brotherhood the night of her First Change, and has been with them ever since. She was originally a member of the Chorus; with Casey Nolan as Alpha, Caleb "Bull Rush" Rust as Beta, and Christian "Starseeker" Lynch as Omega. Casey left soon after her change though, after which Bull Rush became Alpha, Chantay became Beta, and Starseeker remained as the Omega. The membership and structure of the pack has remained constant ever since.

Victoria Stamford

Seeking new experiences, as any Elodoth should, Chantay attended the New Year's Eve festivities at The Asylum. After arriving she found herself flirting with Russel Mane for a while, though that eventually fell through. Afterwards she approached Victoria Stamford. After a short conversation the two women retired tot he back room. After introducing Chantay to BDSM with a caning session Victoria fed from Chantay while she was still restrained, learning that the young woman was not Kine. However, she has yet been unable to determine what Chantay is and Chantay does not know that Victoria is not human.

With the aftereffects of the Kiss still affecting Chantay, and the woman's unusual blood affecting Victoria, the women remained in the back of the Asylum for most of the night. During which time contact information was exchanged and the two women agreed that Chantay would learn how to be a proper Submissive, and eventually how to be a Domme, from Victoria.

Their next notable encounter occurred at The Reverence's St. Patrick's day party. It was a BDSM showcase and Chantay performed on stage with Victoria. A performance made slightly awkward for her due to the unexpected presence of Starseeker, who was distinctly uncomfortable with the entire BDSM scene, and was especially discomfited to learn of Chatnay's role as a submissive. After the performance Chantay and Victoria returned to The Asylum, where Victoria began teaching Chantay how to be a Domme.
