Aiden attended the University of Chicago where he earned a masters in finance, and then began working for a Chicago based investment firm. A fateful business trip to Detroit brought him into the orbit of the Adrestoi. He was ghouled and after years of faithful service was embraced. For the next 20 years he gathered extreme wealth through increasingly dubious means, and grew accustomed to a lavish lifestyle. All that was lost in the financial collapse of 2009, and following a fallout with his vampiric family, Aiden left the area for good. He has traveled ever since, searching for the place where he can rebuild the family and fortune that he lost.
