Chris Wooding is a relatively young kindred, a Shadow - never hesitant to step forward, but he would choose tranquility over any thrilling roller coaster. His appearance follows that same Mekhet philosophy, he usually wears black and grey clothing, although his look can vary from alternative, to college to simply casual. But more important to him, he is a member of the [[Circle of the Crone]]. He believes in the Goddess with all his heart - but many Kindred already know that.

- He is acknowledged on August 21th, 2010.

- Since June 21, 2012, he holds the position of [[Hierophant]].

- On October 5th, 2012, Chris was named Priscus of Shadows.

== Biography ==

Chris Wooding was born in a rich family, in New York. His parents were both bestselling authors - they met a book fair, of all places. They wrote thriller and fantasy novels, Chris loved them. He read a lot, making him a smart guy with a then seemingly perfect youth. With enough money in his pocket he could choose whatever hobby he wanted to spend his time on. And guess what, next to all the reading the boy needed some real action. Fencing was his first sport, but later he was old enough to learn how handle a katana, a classic sword with style, as seen in many movies. Yeah, ''movies'', another great passion. As he got older, his bookcases got fuller and his DVD collection grew bigger. Not to forget, he actually learned how to fight with a katana. Wooding takes his stuff serious.

Next to a lot of reading and fighting - with his now favorite sword - he began to get an interest for Wicca. In his free time he did a lot of research, just for fun. But soon it overshadowed his passion for books and movies. When he got older and finished middle school he even planned to make it his work somehow. He had no idea what kind of job there could be involving wicca, but since his parents got enough money, he was not in a rush to go to university or get a job. No, one summer he decided to go on a holiday through California. Partying whole nights long, meeting "interesting" girls, you know the drill. Sometimes he did more than dancing, even things like talking. Some people noticed his occult interest. Too bad for him, that fact killed him...

Because one night Chris met Sharon Miller. Not much more then a neonate herself. But since there seemed to be some problems in town, she didn't care much about the local rules. She Embraced Chris only thinking about her lonely self. The other kindred in town didn't liked that. In the beginning Chris was fascinated by Sharon and himself, vampires, cool. He learned all the Crúac that he could learn in the small amount of time there was. ''Not much.'' Soon the 'local authorities' were clear about what needed to be done. Girls who ignore one of the basic Traditions of the Masquerade need to be killed, the final death. Nor Chris nor Sharon liked that of course, so they tried to flee. They fought sometimes, but in a few days the two neonates were caught. After killing Sharon in a trial they said they didn't like Chris either, he couldn't be much better then Sharon, but they decided not to kill Chris. There was a woman, Lily Thornton, who volunteered to take care of him, to tutor him. Chris would still be killed if he ever came back to downtown San Francisco. That only needed to be said once to Chris, so he left with Lily to live on the edge of the metropolitan area.

Some years passed, and he needed to make plans for his future. Since going home was not the best idea as a vampire, so he decided to life in an apartment in Sacramento. A nearby city, he would still be able to contact Lily from time to time, but he could also live his own Requiem this way. And looking back on his Requiem so far, he regrets some of his stupid actions. He couldn't be proud of himself. But young as he is, he is willing to start over again... in Sacramento.

After his second time of torpor, Chris left Sacramento after a couple of months. It wasn't any safer than San Francisco. Now that was one of the stupid ideas he has once in a while. Of course they didn't welcome him with open arms, he wasn't forgotten by the local authorities. The whole winter he stayed with Lily Thornton. There he could stay for a while to settle his thoughts, but naturally not for too long. No he needed to leave again.

And so he went back were he came from, Sacramento. However, this Chris was different from the former Chris the city had seen, at least, the Mekhet hoped to have changed in a positive way.
