Biography
Appearing to be in his late 20's, Max is a thin, overly pale white male; standing an unimpressive 5'9”. His black hair is kept a little long, to the point of being slightly shaggy. The fact he doesn't often remember to comb or style it only adds to the slightly disheveled look of the Mekhet. He had the presence of mind to at least shave right before his Embrace; leaving his sharp, slightly sunken cheeks bare for the rest of his unlife. He requires glasses for close-reading, the horn-rimmed spectacles always tucked into a trouser or vest pocket.
His standard outfit is a pair of slacks, button up shirt, and loose fitting vest. A notepad and pen are always tucked into a pocket; ready at a moment's notice to record whatever snippet of information catches Max's attention. His personality is best described as respectful, if not a little sarcastic; preferring to avoid the limelight and attention that some Kindred crave. He's been described as an INTJ, though Max wouldn't describe himself as quite that repressed.
Max has resided in Sacramento since October of 2009, coming along with another large wave of Kindred immigrants. He was romantically linked for sometime with another Mekhet named Elanah, who arrived in the city at roughly the same time he did. The relationship was terminated shortly before she was.
He has so far taken little interest in the politics of the city, other than his past involvement with the Law. Deputized shortly after his arrival, Max was Reeve for a time before turning the reins over to Conner Greyson, much to his relief. He's tried to improve his social skills, and is slowly growing more comfortable in social settings.
Since retiring as Reeve, Max has settled into his life as Grand Wyrm of the Ordo Dracul in Sacramento. He has progressively become more social the past few months, redoubling his efforts to overcome the dark cloud that had been brewing over him the past few years.
He's usually jovial and easy-going in public; but he can grow introspective and quiet in serious situations. His current romantic interest, Tracy Burns, may have something to do with his change in attitude as well.
